First some facts. In order to get the daily recommended dose of Vitamin E you would have to eat the following (source http://www.meetmeatthetop.com/vitamine.html):

1) Spinach, 33 pounds
2) Sunflower seeds, 1.2 pounds
3) Wheat germ, 5.2 pounds
4) Almonds, 2.2 pounds
5) Safflower oil, 1 quart

Is your stomach that big?

Why is this important?

Good question.

According to Dr. Linus Pauling, two time Nobel prize winner (Chemistry and Peace), “You can trace every sickness, every disease and every ailment to a mineral deficiency.” Dr. Pauling, who earned 49 PhDs, was to chemistry what Albert Einstein was to physics.

Your body has about 60 trillion cells reproducing at a rate of about one billion per minute.

You need at least 30 vitamins, amino and fatty acids and 60 minerals on a daily basis to strengthen the body and your immune system and to give those one billion new cells the building blocks for super health.

Conclusion, if you’re not getting DAILY the needed 90 nutrients, your body’s immune system and other functions of the body are moving to a state of dis-function, leading to dis-ease, leading to poor health.

Can I get the needed nutrients from supplements?

Let’s cover that in a later post. The simple answer is maybe. But there is a price to pay; money, time and health.

In the next post, I’ll explain why our food is nutritionally depleted.
