I hated to diet because I didn’t like being hungry all the time. The fight to keep from cheating was hard. I knew why the first three letters in the word spelled “DIE!” I would start a diet and then lose a few pounds, starve and then binge on my favorite food; cashews, cookies and salt and vinegar potato chips. I’d gain back the weight I had lost and then some. I’d feel like crap both physically and emotionally. I’d tell myself I was a bad person and start over again. I can’t tell you how many times I repeated that process.
I thank my lucky stars when a friend of mine introduced me to another way. It has worked for me for almost 8 years to keep the weigh off without starving!
