Most people lack two things in this area; they don’t have a clear vision of where they want to go and do not see opportunities and second they lack  discipline.

The Fifth Pillar of Success: The Proper Use of Time

Your best opportunities are those that align with your overall goals and would be wise to spend your time on those. As Jim Rohn says, “We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while the regret weighs tons!”

Days are really precious and expensive. When you spend a day, you have one less day to spend. Its gone forever so make sure you spend each one wisely. If you don’t design your own life, chances are you’ll fall into someone else’s plan and guess what they have planned for you? Not much!

It’s important to be the designer of your life.

Remember this important truth; something will master and something will serve. Either you run the day or it runs you. Either you control your time or it controls you. As Jim Rohn said, “Take your pick.”
