I’m always experimenting with tasty ingredients to enhance my post workout shake. Rummaging through my pantry I found some pitted dates and said, “Why not?”
2 – Scoops Isagenix Isalean Vanilla Shake (Chocolate will work too)
1 – Scoop Isagenix IsaPro Whey Protein
1 tbsp of Adams organic peanut butter
1/4 cup pitted dates
Combined ice and water, 6 oz
Add all ingredients to blender except the dates. Blend until ice is pulverized and the shake is your desired thickness. Add 1 date at a time into the blender going at its highest speed (just like the way you race in an Ironman). Only add the next date after the previous date is sufficiently diced. Part of the goodness of the shake is little chucks of dates to chew on as you drink your shake. While its a little heavy on fat, it tastes great! Bon appetite!
