Once a banker, Jennifer had a vastly different vision for her life. She felt “trapped” in an overweight body when she yearned to complete the adventurous journeys she had always envisioned. Now a 100-Pound Member and spin instructor, Jennifer wants you to know the life YOU can have after the joining the 100-Pound Club.
No one knows this better than Jennifer, who was recognized at Celebration 2014 in San Diego for losing 102 pounds after joining the IsaBody Challenge® twice.
“I started Isagenix in 2013 with the intention to find a solution to get me the body that I wanted,” describes 33-year-old Jennifer. “I had left my marriage, was alone, single with two young daughters, and on a mission in my 30s to get my life together.”
At 5’7″, Jennifer was her heaviest at 280 pounds, but had gotten down to the 250 mark by Labor Day in 2013.* She had stuck to the idea of maintaining a slim size 6—that number was her slim goal in eighth grade. Meanwhile, she joined one of the Isagenix Facebook support group for the 100-Pound Club.
“At the end of my second IsaBody Challenge, I was down 92 pounds*—and I was going to stop,” shares Jennifer. “I was happy there and had accomplished more than I ever thought possible.’”
Her online friends were her constructive critical cheerleaders who pushed her to go for the 100-Pound Club. Ultimately Jennifer made the choice to continue with her weight-loss journey and ended up releasing a total of 102 pounds* in August 2014 and received the coveted 100-Pound title. “I realized it was fear that had been holding me back,” she says.
Have a Vision
“Even though I lost over 100 pounds in August 2014, I’m still down 90 pounds* today, but I feel stronger than ever.”
Her suggestion for those starting Isagenix with a mighty number to tackle? Have a resilient vision. Jennifer believes that when you make the decision to lose the weight then you will; but it won’t be easy.
“You need to have a strong vision and not focus on working out,” suggests Jennifer. “Focus on positive eating habits and your new lifestyle—because losing weight, especially a daunting number—is a lifestyle change.”
While maintaining your lifestyle after joining the 100-Pound Club—and after you’ve implemented the Shake and Cleanse Days, and other Isagenix products into your daily system—a big part of getting results is working out.
“I think a lot of people approach exercise like, ‘This is it. I have to trudge through it.’ No, you don’t. You have to find something that works for you.”
Today, Jennifer has rebuilt her life—even finding a fellow IsaPeep to rebuild her life with her children—and found a workout she loves: spinning. However, she admits that through the weight loss, food addiction will always be with her.
“You need to have willpower and a strong support system. Isagenix is my family, and I know people who are part of the culture understand that because they’re on the same journey.”

A 2008 university study showed a statistically significant weight loss of 7 pounds (3.2 kg) during the first nine days of the Cleansing and Fat Burning System. As with any health or fitness program, a sensible eating plan and regular exercise is required in order to achieve long-term weight loss.
